Deb is originally from Indiana and came to Fayetteville, NC via the Army in 2008. She loves to stay active both in and outside of the gym with her friends and family. She has been coaching CrossFit and Personal Training for almost 10 years in various gyms in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area. Prior to Coaching CrossFit, she instructed physical training for the Army, specifically for Pregnant and Postpartum Soldiers.
Deb found CrossFit in 2008 when a friend recommended she should “check out this website”. There were very few CrossFit gyms at the time so she navigated it on her own, sprinkling it in here and there with a traditional body building program. After sustaining several injuries and navigating a pregnancy, she decided to give CrossFit another try and joined a gym. That was when she decided to be “all-in” with CrossFit style training. She found herself in much better shape physically and mentally for what was needed as a Soldier after adopting this training methodology, even navigating a second pregnancy with a much better recovery.
Deb has always wanted to help people improve their health and fitness through lifestyle changes, primarily through nutrition and exercise. CrossFit’s methodology allows her to do just that on a daily basis. She has helped people from many walks of life, from Soldiers and spouses to children, grandparents and those wanting to compete at the highest level, achieve their health and fitness goals.
